1. Where is your baklava made?
Our baklava is handcrafted in Gaziantep, Türkiye, the birthplace of authentic Turkish baklava and a UNESCO City of Gastronomy.
It’s made using premium pistachios, 100 % clarified butter, and traditional wood-fire baking methods — exactly as it’s been done for generations.
2. How is Hamido Baklava shipped?
After production, our baklava is frozen in Gaziantep to lock in freshness and imported to our California facility.
Each order is thawed and shipped fresh to your door — never refrigerated, never microwaved.
This process allows you to enjoy the same authentic taste you’d experience in Türkiye.
3. Do I need to refrigerate or freeze it after delivery?
No. Our baklava should be stored at room temperature — not refrigerated or frozen.
Keep it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or heat.
For best quality, consume within 5 days after delivery.
4. How long does delivery take?
Orders are usually processed within 1–2 business days and delivered in 2–4 business days depending on your location.
You’ll receive a tracking email once your order ships.
5. What if my baklava arrives damaged or melted?
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at sales@hamidobaklavausa.com with photos and your order number.
We’ll gladly review and issue a replacement or refund if applicable.
6. Can I return or exchange my order?
Because baklava is a perishable food product, we cannot accept returns or exchanges once it has been shipped.
However, we’ll always make it right if your product arrives damaged or defective.

7. Where do you ship from?
All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Southern California to customers across the continental United States.
We currently do not ship internationally or to P.O. boxes.
8. Is Hamido Baklava vegan or dairy-free?
Most of our baklava contains clarified butter (ghee) and may contain traces of milk or eggs.
However, we also offer a Vegan Pistachio Baklava, made without butter or animal products.
9. Can I send baklava as a gift?
Absolutely! Baklava makes a beautiful and delicious gift for birthdays, holidays, and celebrations.
Simply select “This is a gift” at checkout and add your personalized message — we’ll include it in the package.
10. Do you offer wholesale or bulk orders?
Yes. Hamido Baklava USA supplies cafés, restaurants, and specialty stores nationwide.
